
Quick and easy vegan Ice Cream Soda.
Ok, something new for me – again :). My first Ice Cream Soda. I tried the old-fashioned, veganized version with chocolate syrup, soda, coconut milk, vegan vanilla ice cream and vegan whipped cream, topped with some chocolate sprinkles – and absolutely loved it! You will need a tall glass (put in the freezer for a few minutes), a long spoon, a straw and a scoop.
I used self-made sugar-free chocolate syrup. Maybe I will add the recipe someday (if I can still remember). I will try to make other versions of vegan soda ice cream with self-made ice cream soon … although it’s still a bit too cold for ice cream where I live 🙁 … weird summer this year …
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp coconut milk (or other non-diary milk)
- 3 Tbsp chocolate syrup
- 2 or 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream , vegan
- 8 - 10 oz club soda
- vegan whipped cream
- optional: chocolate sprinkles
Servings: Ice Cream Soda
Instructions
- Place the chocolate syrup in a tall glass (~16-oz, frosted).
- Add milk and soda (to about 3/4 of the glass) and stir until foamy.
- Add ice cream and top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Enjoy :).
