5-minute, quick and easy vegan Caramel Popcorn. You may also add salt for salted caramel popcorn.
This one is a very basic recipe for classical caramel popcorn. Although my version is not baked. I’m not sure if there is a difference to the version that needs to be baked for about an hour (which also seems to have more butter in it) – I’m not patient enough for the baking step ;). For this version, you only need popped popcorn (I use the air-popped variant), sugar, vegan butter or margarine and optionally salt and/or vanilla. Melt the vegan butter or margarine, add sugar and optionally some salt and vanilla and stir over high heat until the sugar starts to brown slightly. Then pour everything over the popcorn and mix – done. Very easy recipe that is perfect for your next TV marathon ;)!
